SCMAZ'S 2nd Annual Autumn Island-Fest 2009 was a huge success, and we Praise the Lord!

The Samoan Christian Mission of AZ families wish to thank everyone for their support and donations.

"Thank-you!" also to Pastor Rich Doerrer-Peacock & The South Mountain Community Church for the use of the Fellowship Hall, to the Samoan Congregational Christian Church of AZ for donating their tables and chairs, to Ron Liaiga and Pelema Esene for the use of their sound system and to the beautiful Lynn Liaiga and her daughters for their Polynesian Revue! Thank-you again!

SCMAZ Youth at it again! On March 20th SCMAZ has been invited to attend and participate in the "Pacific Island Celebration ... Praising Him Island Style!" Our Youth team is preparing performance items from Samoa, Fiji, and Tahiti. The event programs start at 6PM and takes place at the American Indian College, 10020 N. 15th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. This event is being hosted by Community Connection Assembly of God.

"Big Up" to SCMAZ Youth officers: TJ Tuvalu, Ladonai "Nai" Tavai, April Rasing, and Myra Suka. As well dance choreographers, Inu Tuvalu and Lisle Puletasi. Great job folks!

Congratulations
Congratulations to SCMAZ Youth members who are also part of ATOA and Suli o Ali'i dance group. Great performance this year at the 2010 Aloha Festival at the Tempe Town Lakes. We'll be posting photos soon!

Special Visit
This past July we were honored to have three Faifeau's; Reverend Elder Fiti Aofia, Reverend Fa'avae Fa'ata'ita'i and Reverend Pesaleli Poufa visit our Mission. Their visit was to witness the growth of the newly planted Mission, SCMAZ, and to address any questions from the Mission members.
